SOS offers programs and services that aid and educate families on how to cope with adverse situations. It is our overall goal to redefine the way children/families handle life's challenges by equipping them with the tools necessary for them to break destructive habits and lead healthy lifestyles.
Outpatient Counseling Treatment: is a service designed to meet the clinically significant behavioral and psychological symptoms or patterns identified as a need for the client. This service will be provided through scheduled therapeutic sessions.
Community Psychiatric Support Treatment: is the foundation of the recovery-oriented treatment plan. CPST promotes personal responsibility while equipping clients with the tools they need to function efficiently in their natural environments rather than being dependent upon systems or agencies.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation: is a therapeutic program usually conducted in home or community settings that utilizes services such as behavioral management, anger management, conflict resolution, parent/family training, and collateral interventions with schools and/or social service systems.
Medication Management: is a service provided by licensed medical professionals. This service allows clients to utilize medication as a part of their therapy process in efforts to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Crisis Management: is a short term service used to assist clients who experience a traumatic event which produces physical, mental, emotional, or behavioral distress. This service aims to assist the client in utilizing consistent problem solving and coping skills.
